About Ryan Nieves

Ryan Nieves (b. 1993) is an illustrator, fine artist, and writer from Staten Island, New York. Practicing the art of traditional drawing since early childhood, it was around his freshman year of college where he decided to get serious and wanted to commit to the arts professionally. A mostly self-taught artist, a majority of his work is dark in nature and explores concepts rooted in horror. He was inspired to take this route with his art after discovering the Silent Hill video game series. He also takes inspiration from Japanese horror, especially the supernatural aspects stemming from stories, games, and movies.

Ever since, he has been creating his pieces, illustrations, and concept art primarily in graphite, a medium he loves and strives to master. Behind most of his work is a short yet elaborate story that, in text, illustrates the horror, tragedy, and drama found in the majority of his pieces. On occasion, Ryan experiments with the opposite end of the spectrum in his work. His passion is to share his unique visions and stories with people, to show them something interesting, unique, and exciting in the genre he works in.

PURCHASE INFORMATION FOR ORIGINALS:

All originals have a shipping cost that will be added to the price that is dependent on your location.
Orders for originals are usually shipped on Saturdays the latest after placing your order, and must be paid through Paypal which will be provided in email communication.
All pictures on this website are the edited/cropped web version of the original artwork. (email me to request pictures of original artwork if you would like to see it in raw form)

Price is dependent on the projected length of time/effort that will be needed for the project and will be determined before any commitments for the purchaser to consider.

Once agreed, make sure in advance to make payment reliably. Do not place a commission if you do not have the funds to finance your order. Half of the amount must be paid in advance, the other half after the first preview. Any drastic changes or alters after work has been completed may be possibly subjected to an additional fine. Shipping costs of the original artwork will be charged to the purchaser upon completion.

The first half of the price is not refundable once the first draft has been shown to the purchaser even if they refuses the artwork or quit the commission.
With the purchase of the artwork
the purchaser acquires the temporal unrestricted, exclusive right of use of the artwork for printmedia, promotional and advertising media*.
Re-sale and/or transfer of the original artwork through the purchaser to third parties for their self interest and the usage through third parties without the purchaser`s and the artist`s permission is prohibited.
Ryan Nieves - Pyramiddhead reserves himself the right to alter the artwork and/or use the artwork for promotional purposes as displaying on websites and social media or exhibiting in galleries.
No responsibilities and provision-duties are taken for the loss of the artwork due to the purchaser`s fault once it has been handed over carefully to the purchaser.
