I remember that day, I thought no one would come save me. Not mom, not dad, or even god would ever know to look in a place that dark. My body offered to monsters, I was utterly powerless to resist them. My eyes emptied as I could only see the end, my cries muffled trapped underneath heaving heavy bodies. But then someone heard my cries, I heard the monsters screams, and I saw their blood... Freed I got up and stepped into light, tears blurred my vision as I saw my savior. Though she had no wings and her hair was as black as night, even in utter darkness what I saw as an angel had found me...
